I feel bad for Dusty. He's a good man.

If Joey's power returns next season, you would have to like the Reds' chances.
Zero chance the Reds miss the playoffs!

I wouldn't mind Billy Hamilton picking up CF defense with ease and forcing his way onto the team, either.

Maybe Mesoraco flashes his true ability in 2013. If he ever finds his way out of whatever doghouse he is in right now. That is a strange story right there.

this has been my luck -- I live in the country near a highway -- I just had the doorbell ring to find the wife of the CEO of the hospital that I am board member with a flat tire just as Rolen comes to the plate.

It didn't take me long to see that car is going nowhere because Pontiac did not include a spare and the side wall of her tire is ripped.

The CFO showed up to take her home but I missed the last AB.

don't know whether to be happy I missed it or sad because I missed it

actually Frazier had a hit today + a walk & 4 outs in the games that got in -- not much of a chance in my book

I would prefer to think of him as a good man while he is back home in his recliner next year.

Are there still men on base for the reds?!!
We really went from clutch hitting with RISP to Choke!!

I think that in a year or two, one of these guys - Frazier, Dorn, Valaika, Cumberland, Stubbs - will be ready to replace Dunn. They won't hit as many home runs as Dunn, but they should have similar OPS. - 757690, July 22, 2008

Alonso will be playing 1B for the REDS and batting 4th one year from today. - Kingspoint, July 9, 2009

Why so their fans can come here and brag even more? We all should be pulling for the Giants so if we are going to lose lose to a team going to the WS, rather than choking to a team that couldn't even beat the team we beat by 9 games in the standings.

I could get on board with that kind of thinking.

I don't have any problem with the Cardinals fans that post here.

This. I figure if they beat our team, then I want them to kick a$$ all the way to the top.

What the hell happened to our "Giant Killer" today? He too worried about making his little reality show for ESPN with Wifey-Poo than doing the job he's paid to do?

Yeah, but then we set the team back a couple years getting used to a new system and manager? I think Dusty has done OK, but he needs to quit being a damn marshmallow and actually climb all over these guy's fannies when they start playing lazy or stupid.

If the Cards win it isn't going to be the ones that post here, just look how many new ones popped up today in our loss. The more they win the more that will show up.
