What should the Reds do?

This is how I cope, I'm prepared to move on with my eye on the future for our team. I don't want to revel in the loss, I want to talk about making the team better for next year.

We can make the reasonable assumption that the team won't be big spenders and if they do dole out the cash it wil be for extensions (Latos, Bailey, Ludwick are all candidates). After the Latos and Marshall trades, I don't see the team dealing too many prospects and leave the farm system barren.

1. Left Field: either re-sign Ludwick (assuming he tests the market) or find another replacement. If a 3B is available, you can move Frazier to LF as well.

2. Center Field: unless the FO sticks with Stubbs til Hamilton is ready

3. Back end of the bullpen: If Broxton isn't resigned, I wonder if they'll bring Madson back cheap as an 8th inning guy.

Potential targets:

Delmon Young (too many K's)
Torii Hunter (aging, may not leave the West Coast)
Kevin Youkilis (all the same issues as Rolen)
David DeJesus (the Cubs might have too high an asking price)
Matt Garza (a package deal with him and DeJesus would be amazing, but expensive)
Justin Upton (pipe dream)
Jacob Ellsbury (see above)

Expected departures: Miguel Cairo, Scott Rolen, Jonathan Broxton
Potential departures: Ryan Ludwick
Expected additions: Henry Rodriguez

This is just an immediate post-game thought....what do you all think?
