Uh....the bottom numbers are off the bench. Heisey was way better as a starter. Luddy and Stubbs had the majority starts early versus the lefties Heisey faced a lot of the tough righties.

And for the zillionith time Heisey is a 300-350 AB a year guy.....Stubbs gets about double the AB for no valid reason. Stubbs is also a spot starter, pinch runner and maybe defensive replacement.....but yet gets 150 starts barring injury and 3 straight years of declining numbers.

Why does everyone think the reds need a stereotypical lead off hitter like Bourn? In that ball park i want my lead off hitter with some pop. That why i think Phillips should bat leadoff and because the outfield is pretty small in cincy Cabrera could patrol it well and hit 20 bombs in that park.

Victorino is my choice. Will likely be relatively cheap and brings veteran experience and knows what its like to win.
