I think its either Phillips, Votto or Chapman and I think there is more than one answer.
Nationally I think its Chapman, just because I think hes the one player that would get the national media or fans to drop what their doing to see him. Hes more intriguing player.
Locally its either Votto or Phillips.
Votto tho quiet is beloved here.
Phillips very outgoing and marketable especially for kids and a great player.
Tough call on the local level.
I think it's Phillips. No way is it Chappy, I think people just recognize him because of the heat he throws. I do think Votto is too quiet, but he might be because of his MVP. But from people I talk with usually Phillips name comes up 1st.

I like how there is no clear-cut "face" of this team. It shows some humility amongst the guys. We have the MVP, DatDudeBP, BRUUUUCE, The Cuban Missle, Homer no-no Bailey, Ryan Studwick, Todd ROY Frazier just to name a few. (All nicknames I've heard before)
Nationally I think it's Votto. He's the MVP and highest paid on team. Phillips has a good argument because of his web gems and extrovertness.
We won 50 games without the "face" of our team. So locally, I could see it being anyone really. We all have different heroes on the team.
I live out of the state, in Texas. It seems obvious to me when others talk about the Reds Votto is the obvious choice.

This would be a great poll, but my opinion is Brandon Phillips.
I believe 2013 will be led by three...BP, Ludwick & Frazier...I believe Frazier will lead the charge!! I love BP but if he's not playing well, I never see him reach out & encourage others...If you looked at Luddy's face during the PS he is extremely strong...Joey's bat will do his talking but I feel he is becoming more vocal....
When I took a tour of GABP earlier this year I noticed a ton of Votto posters hung. Way more than any other player. I would have to say Votto.
