    Postseason Scoreboard Watching, Redux

Been lurking for weeks, decided to start the new thread. Will wait until after the season is done before I give my thoughts on this postseason.

I'm just going to continue from the last post on the origiinal postseason scoreboard watching.

When a person is so upset as Hometown is there is no talking to them. This game is all luck. Buster Posey got lucky that Latos threw him a room service fastball.

Would you honestly be ok with a reds player or FO person saying that the reason they didn't make the LCS is because the didn't have any luck, because all the luck was being hogged by the cardinals? Because they'd be seeing eye to eye with you.

It's funny that someone so driven by numbers would credit so much to "luck".

Regardless of my hatred for STL, SF needs to extend this series so I don't have to wait so long between baseball games. That will be a brutal few days.

There is no denying that Summer is truly over when baseball ends.

The Giants went with a five-man rotation and threw Zito out there? The season is on the line and they went with Zito over Bumgarner? I sure hope they know what they are doing.

Unfortunately, I believe the Giants are probably a dead team walking. St. Louis is just way too good offensively. Detroit will hopefully put a stop to this madness next week. I can't stomach another year of the Cardinals as World Champs.

If your season was hanging by a thread would you run Barry Zito out there? Bumgarner would be going on his regular rest. It makes no sense to me. It is as if the Baseball Gods ripped that marker and lineup card out of Bruce Bochy's hand and filled it out themselves. Is it April First? What is the possible logic in this move? Somebody throw me a bone here.

I hear you loud and clear Dave, I do. Sadly, all logic goes out the door when The Red Birds are involved.

They let the pitcher swing away and he grounded into a double play. Nice. I think I might have sent Lynn up to the plate without a bat. LOL.

Chris Meyers sitting in for Erin Andrews is a total drag.

Giants draw first blood; runners on the corners.

Giants draw first blood. Lead 1-0. Oops. I guess I owe the professor some royalties here.
