I'm going too, 14th show for me, 4th for my wife. The fan club pre party is at the Rock Bottom, the post show party is at the Fleetwood Pub. You are in for a treat, the set list is amazing.

    I even bought a t-shirt, something I haven't done in 10 years I'd say.

Both Megadeth and Maiden were so much fun to watch, they took me back to my youth and I enjoyed it quite a lot. Many of the concerts I go to these days has streamlined and it was great to go back and see that 'arena rock' presentation with the pyro and theatrics.

Plus I got to see Eddie!

Even though they had some sound, Eddie issues, I thought they rocked. Best line from Bruce "if you came here tonight looking for a country concert, you made a horrible mistake".

Yeah there were definitely some sound issues with vocals on both bands. I guess maybe Bridgestone is wired for pop music and not rock lol

I went and saw Saxon the other night. It was good. Biff is 62, and looks 72, but still sings like he's 32.

Re: The Official Heavy Metal Thread

found out tonight that Finland's Lordi has a postage stamp in homage to them. Rovaniemi, renamed it's town square in honor of Mr. Lordi. trying to comprehend this while contrasting how Americans would lose their minds (in the bad way) over this.
