Espn: 3 team trade fantasy proposal

Indians- trade asdrubal Cabrera, joe Wendle acquire homer bailey.

Orioles-trade bud norris, mike wright, acquire Cabrera.

Reds-trade bailey, acquire Norris, wright and Wendle.

Me personally no way I would do that trade. I know we may not b able to resign bailey , but this trade hurts us in my opinion.

A few things here (not to be thread police, but I am I guess):

Title needs "Rumor" or "ESPN Trade for Fun" or whatever it is
    Throw a link up here
Let us know that this not an actual trade

This looks like you are saying ESPN is reporting a 3 team trade.

It isn't a rumor. It was in an article where a writer threw out about 10 3 team trades for fun.

Yeah, this is nothing but off-season fun.

Though perhaps it will help temper some of the extreme expectations people have for what one season of Bailey will return.

Sounds like the guy started with the premise "how do I get Bailey to the Indians" and went from there.

Yes, the equivalent of bar talk, no substance, no gain to the Reds, not worth the zeros and ones it took to get in the ether.

Re: Espn: 3 team trade rumor

Unless we get someone who we can control for 3 years at the least or a major upgrade in our lineup, then Homer Bailey is not going to get traded this off season.

Sit back and think about it.... Homer is more valuable to us as a #2-3 starter in 2014 and offer him a offer then if he leaves then he leaves.... But in keeping him we not only get his services for the season but we might net us a pick in 2015......homer has a ton of value for this franchise right now and up till the last day of the season. No way we trade him for non proven talent who is controllable and cheap.

    How about...

Reds get a 29 year old 3.00 ERA middle reliever, a 32 year old infielder super sub, and Chris Heisey's twin brother Chip Heisey.

The team you're a beat writer for gets Bailey.

    Awful, awful deal.

I'm not opposed to dealing Bailey if the right offer came around but I'd be upset if the Reds gave him away for this kind of return. Getting a year's worth of Homer Bailey + a comp pick is far better than dealing him for a bunch of spare parts.

ESPN needs to consult Krusty for some true slobberknockers that look better for the Reds

Sorry but I quit awhile back putting out trade proposals. Two many confusing threads to decide which one to put out fantasy proposals. Now days I just sit back and occasionally observe on Redszone.com
