    Wil Meyers

I wonder if the Royals would bite on a Wil Meyers for Homer Bailey. He sure would look good in between Votto and Bruce. Plus we have good options in house to replace Bailey.

    Let the kids play!

He would be the prototype of guy we need. A LF who hits RH and can split up Votto and Bruce however they aren't going to give him up for Homer. Dayton Moore is having a tough time giving him up on Matt Moore or Jeremy Hellickson. Those two are cost controlled for atleast 4 more years and have had atleast similar success to Homer (except for a no hitter). They are younger, cheaper and most importantly probably better.

The Royals would be crazy not to jump on Wil Myers for Matt Moore. I can't imagine why the Rays would be interested in that. Hellickson is another matter.

Great Talent... A bonafide .300/30/100 Threat...

I'd say anyone other than Hamilton... They Royals want Pitching so you're probably looking at Tony Cingrani and I'd pull the trigger.

I'd wager if KC trades him it'll be for ML proven pitching. They do line up with Tampa pretty well, actually.

It'd probably take Bailey + Cingrani/Corcino, if not a little more.

Bailey for Myers would be a classic Jocketty trade. Then use the money saved from Homers contract to add a closer and move Chapman to the rotation. All that would be left is a leadoff hitter and beefing up the bench.

Was reading on ESPN that the Royals were looking at James Shields.
