Donald was a guy the Reds were talking about acquiring from Philly back at the 09 deadline when he was a prospect. Instead the Indians acquired him in the Cliff Lee package. Probably delays Henry Rodriguez's big league debut.
I red on Facebook that Bauer is in the deal. Just written by some random guy, though. So take it FWIW.

Donald seems like a solid utility guy, much better than Burriss.
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

    LOVE this deal.
Benzinger backing and calling! And the 1990 world championship series belongs to the Cincinnati Reds!

Spectacular if the three team deal including Donald is a reality.

Talent evaluators rave about glove of Didi Gregorius, SS who would go to Ariz. in 3-way trade. Some project him as regular, others utility.

Negative Fay says the Reds can't extend Choo.

I know it's probably true but man he needs to ease up on the payroll thing.
