Someone better tell Didi before he starts packing his backs haha

It's a gamble, how it's played will be interesting

I hope there is another trade coming. I don't see how this improves the team.
Last year the Reds had 4033 at bats against righties.
Last year the Reds had 1444 at bats against lefties.

By my math (always debatable) the Reds faced righties 73.63% of the time.

A player like Choo who kills right hand pitching is important. On a team like the Reds, which had a .710 OPS against righties last year, he is golden.

Didn't Choo play CF in the minors, if memory serves?

Massive disruption for Shin-Soo Choo and Jason Donald: They must now park in different lot at the all-Ohio spring complex in Goodyear.

Indians will end up with Trevor Bauer, Drew Stubbs and relievers Bryan Shaw and Matt Albers. Will part w/ Choo, Sipp, Lars Anderson.
Bet the Reds get Lars lol

In other words, false alarm on Asdrubal. He is NOT in the deal.

    Re: Shin-soo Choo?

Choo's career numbers at GABP: OPS of 1.048 with 4 HRs in 36 ABs.

Also he does play against lefties. His numbers are much better against RHP but I don't see him sitting against all lefties.

Career he has a .307 AVG with OPS of .914 against RHP and a .249 AVG with OPS of .695 against LHP. Obviously much stronger against RHP and his numbers last year were really bad against lefties much worse than in the past.

If Dbacks would have traded Bauer for Gregorius......I"d rather have done that deal

Can Bauer hit leadoff for the Reds this year?

For some reason I feel like Cincy gave up more. Or Cleveland I guess, edit.
