    Who do you pitch to...

Bottom of the ninth, 2 outs. Mike Trout is on 3rd, whoever the angels bat second (not that it matters) is on 2nd. You are up 1 run. Pujols walking to the plate, Hamilton on deck. First base is obviously open.

    Who do you pitch to?

It has to be pitch to Hamilton. He chases stuff outside the zone a lot more and strikes out at almost twice the rate Pujols does. Hamilton also doesn't have the same pedigree of coming up big in big moments like Pujols has throughout his career with the Cardinals.

Walk Pujols to create a force at any base and because his run is meaningless. And then bring in a lefty to face Hamilton.

well, Hamilton is a lefty, Pujols is a righty.. so I would determine it by who's ever pitching.

Typically managers can choose who is pitching to match the situation.

I would assume Broxton is the man, and I would ask him who he wants to face.
What if this is as good as it gets?

The only way I'd pitch to Pujols in that situation is if he was tied up.

Ok Marshall against Hamilton or Broxton against Pujols. The odds are better that Marshall gets Hamilton out.
