So many emotions running through me right now. I haven't felt this way after hearing a news report since the morning of 9/11. I just want to hug my niece and twin nephews, who are celebrating their 4th and 2nd birthdays this weekend.

Again, I can barely process how horrifying this is. The descriptions of this are something you'd expect to hear from Auschwitz. People effing scare me.Fourth grader told Eyewitness News that a scream was heard over the intercom this morning and then shut off.
Sources are also reporting that the gunman went classroom to classroom shooting adults and children. There were piles of bodies seen inside the school and there are reports of a whole classroom missing.
Connecticut has called surrounding states for more medical examiners because they do not have enough to conduct autopsies.

I am stunned at the senselessness of it all. Shooting little kids? Thoughts and prayers to that community.
