I remember talks about acquiring him before the injuries. If he can become Greg Maddux 2.0 then maybe. I think he's done for though.

In his prime he used to shut us down... of course considering he was facing the likes of Ryan Freel, Sean Casey, and Wily Mo Pena... but he was one hell of a good pitcher.

"Brandon is probably the laziest SOB in baseball. He doesn't start pitching until Spring Training. I don't even think he picks up a baseball during the offseason. Just drinks and plays golf at the course on his farm all day."

You may be a childhood friend of Brandon, but you obviously don't know him very well if you think he didn't pick up a baseball until Spring Training.

There is absolutely nothing about Webb's pitching history that would lead me to believe this is even remotely true. On the other hand, similar stories about Kearns and Dunn were, quite easy to believe.
(Referring to Jack Hannahan signing with a Korean team)
Since there are no teams on the moon, I guess South Korea's far enough from Cincinnati to satisfy me.

it's moot point now. Webb hangs up the mitt - http://mlb.mlb.com/news/article.jsp?...0586637842-996
There are 3 guarantees in life; death, taxes, and the leadoff walk coming around to score.

It was cool to see this quote:
Price said if Webb was up for it, he would love to work with him to see if there was something left in his arm.

"If it was going to be anybody to work with, it would have been him," Webb said.
