Well that doesn't make a ton of sense. The bullpen is already pretty crowded with right-handers.

MLC with an invite to Spring Training I would bet. I have no problem with this, if he'd go to AAA he's depth in case someone gets hurt.

Yeah, just figure he'll get a shot at a rotation somewhere like Colorado. If he cuts down on home runs, he'd make a nice fourth starter.

Just added depth if they do get him...likely Louisville and possibly on a time deadline to make the team or choose to be released...

I would think it would be the same concept, but Garcia is likely to be a much better pitcher than Tomko or Redmond. If the price is right and he is fine with being stashed in Louisville, I am all for this move.

I'm really surprised they haven't signed Jamie Moyer for depth.

Or atleast to be an usher.

    Seconded.

I think it would be a good signing if hed be willing to play in Louisville. Maybe have him sign a deal that if he isnt on the major league roster he can leave by June 1st or something. Theres no way our staff stays healthy for 2 straight years. We need some depth other than Redmond and Villareal
