I dunno, if Felt can add a mile or two to that fastball, this may not be too bad of a pick. Left-handers can get away with softer stuff.
“I think I throw the ball as hard as anyone. The ball just doesn't get there as fast.” — Eddie Bane
“We know we're better than this ... but we can't prove it.” — Tony Gwynn
Felt would be better served to go ahead and go to college and add that velocity - that would be my advice to the kid, but as a Reds fan my advice is to sign.
‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’ Matthew 25:40
Any update on the kid?
I am about to head to bed, so I don't have a link, but I saw in a local paper (local to his town) that he was expected to make a full recovery and should be able to play baseball again.
