Earl Weaver passes away at age 82

One of the managers that I truly enjoyed seeing as a child.

RIP - You shall be missed.

Passes away on the same day as Stan the man. Two greats leave us within hours of one another. Their contributions to the game will not be forgotten.

RIP Earl. Changed the way the game was played to a certain extent.

If you get the chance read Ron Lucianno's books, The Umpire Strikes Back, or Fall Of The Roman Umpire. He has some hilarious stories about Earl and him going at it.
