First team in the salary cup era to win two cups. That's something in itself. Can't wait for next season already.

The Flyers announced on Tuesday that they will be using one of their cap compliance buyouts on Ilya Bryzgalov, ending his two-year run with the team. As part of the buyout the Flyers will pay Bryzgalov $1.643 million per year for the next 14 years to not play for them. He will no longer count against their salary cap.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”
Thanks for Bobrovsky, Philly!
I paid WAYYYY too much for tickets to game 5 but I guess it was worth it. Getting to go see your team in the Stanley Cup Finals isn't something you can exactly plan for every year.

Tell me about it. My fiance and I flew from Calgary to Chicago for game 5, then Boston for game 6. Not a cheap 5 day trip.
But alas, memories last forever:

I'm the guy not smiling (photographer must have caught the one moment I wasn't), in the black jersey behind Kane.
I went to game 1 in 2010. One of the best sporting experiences of my life. Completely fantastic time. I wanted to go this time but wasn't able to do so, I'll likely kick myself for a long time to come. Never pass up the chance to do something exciting and special. The Cup is definitely special. Best championship in all of sports.
