I think changing up the roster a bit, playing back to back games, and an energized crowd/home opener is a big reason why the Hawks came out flying. Still, the Blues haven't won in Chicago in like two years so it's a hard place to play. I also feel that home field has the biggest advantage in the NHL because the home team gets to change it's lines last, allowing for proper matchups when appropriate.

Well, it only took 3 games for the Blue Jackets to assume their familiar role of League Slumpbuster.

    You're welcome NHL

John Davidson was a good hire so they should be good in a couple of years.

The Blues are now 7 for 11 on the power play so far. There's a percentage you're not likely to see hold up for the whole season.

Another dominant performance at home, allowing only 13 shots. Something in the water there but they do not allow chances on home ice.

Oh and can I get a Tarasenko chant? Kid has unreal talent. He's one of the best snipers we've had in a long, long time. Another goal tonight.

In other news the Blue Jackets are already in mid-season form.

    Lost 5-1 last night
    Down 3-0 tonight

Eh, that's the plan with the hiring of Davidson.

Just no reason to watch though, brutal across the board.

Look on the bright side. Maybe I can get some good seats when the Blues roll into town.

You and me both. I remember watching that game like it was yesterday.

And might I mention that our boys looked good again tonight.
