Congrats to WOY. A great series. Could have gone either way, feel very lucky to move to the next round.
I'm not even much of a hockey fan, but this schedule is infuriating, like it's not enough the Bruins and Penguins have been waiting a whole week, they have to make it the late game, even though there's an EC team in at while there's a WC team in the other?

Last 4 champs in the conference finals should make for an interesting race to the Cup.
I agree with you on the Eastern Conference side of things. The Hawks and Kings play back to back today and tomorrow due to the Stones being in town last night at the UC. Would have been nice to have seen the Pens Bruins first game have been last night to fill that void.

Where the hell did these Bruins come from? I was sure the Pens were going to walk all over them, but wow.

Still more hockey Joseph!
I'm very excited about this series. Should be great hockey. I just hope Rask has cooled off by Wednesday night or the crowd at the Madhouse can rattle some folks.

I have been a huge, huge Bruin fan since Orr, Esposito, Sanderson, McKenzie, Hodge, Cashman, and Cheevers era of the early 1970s.
More than Rask, I think the Bruin defense will be the key in this series. Chara, Seidenberg, et al have been incredible so far. They shut down Crosby, Malkin, and Iginla.
It will be a good series. Two original six teams for the first time since 1979. I remember when the western teams were all expansion teams back in 1967-1968.

Oh it should be an excellent series I don't doubt that a bit. The Bruins have defensive stars like the Hawks have offensive ones. Strength versus strength. I haven't watched a lot of pre-matchup hype, but I hope and pray its not a lot of 'Boston Strong' stuff. That will get old in a hurry for me. They are a great team and don't need the bump of that horrible tragedy to get ready to play.
I want to see if they do to Toews what the Wings did by hounding him with a top 6 forward [Zetterberg in the case of the Wings] or if they stick to what got them there to begin with.

Is there a more exciting OT in all of sports than the sudden death OTs in the Stanley Cup finals? Bruins and Blackhawks headed to OT #2.

Well, I know the Blackhawks won the game, but nobody won bigger than the coffee shops.

Epic.
Would really suck to have lost that game.
