Gio more and more impressive (off field anyway).

If he can perform, he will be a star in Cincy. Well spoken, down to Earth, just hope the on field production matches all the other intangibles

Glad to see Brad Johansen back calling the Bengals. At least for 3 games.

I loathe Dan Hoard. Wish Brad was still with Lap.

Giovanni Bernard being featured heavily in the second preseason game against the Titans 1st team. He's looking good.
    Witty signature.

How about the Geno Atkins extension. This was step 1 in guaranteeing the core stays together for as long as possible.

Whatever happened to Mike Brown the spendthrift?

In all honesty, 5 years, $55 mil sounds like a steal for the Bengals. Is the deal start this season? I haven't seen the details yet, but at that price, I'd almost think it has to. He'd obviously get a raise this season, if that is the case, they know the likely franchise tag number next year, then its a matter of what he can get on the free market after that (a lot presumably). So if he makes a little more this year and next, perhaps the Bengals save a little more in years 3, 4, & 5.

I love that this got done, allows them to concentrate on Dalton & AJ when the season ends and their eligible to rework their deals. AJ is going to be worth some serious coin.

Bengals.com article says he gets $22 million over the first six months.

I have no doubts they will re-sign A.J. Mike Brown has always paid his own offensive skills players.

The Bungles are off to a lousy start and Andy Dalton is still Andy Dalton.

The Bengals go 97 yards on their third series. Nice! I like seeing the rookies, Eifert and Bernard, contributing early on. And AJ GReen is still AJ Green
