    Random Testing for HGH.

    Going for Blood

MLB and the MLBPA will announce they reached an agreement on random blood tests for HGH. I can’t believe how much money they are wasting on a substance that may or may not enhance performance. It’s all about PR.

Most athletes won't just use HGH. It is used in combination with steroids the vast majority of the time. The same thing with testosterone. While a few may just take those and possible small benefits they may bring (up for debate), most of the time if a person gets nailed for either one means they are also cycling on and off steroids.

There is simply no good reason to take HGH unless you are looking to cheat. You can bet anyone that gets nailed for HGH is also taking any number of illegal substances. HGH is just one more way to catch the cheaters.

On top of that, who cares if they spend money on testing vs. paying more money to millionaires or further lining the pockets of billionaires?
