    Pete, Woody and Knight

After listening to Pete's interview "in the Herd" last week, I realized it is such a shame this guy has not been able to share his knowledge of baseball and all the history that he went thru. Sure it's his own fault and he is the one to blame, but I could listen to him talk the game all day long. I felt similar about Woody Hayes on football and Bobby Knight in basketball.

Agree totally ! I remember always listening to the pre-game comments when he was manager and he did one of those Pete & Marty shows too. (I think it was Marty)
It was very entertaining listening to him talk baseball !

Kinda surprised he never got a "baseball talk" type show with ESPN or something--unless they have to abide by MLB's ban...
