Manti Te'o didn't really have a dead girlfriend

This takes about 15-20 minutes to ready and is totally crazy. I really wonder what he will say about this.

Amazing someone that overrated almost stole the Heisman.

The media/ND hype machine really is something unique in all of college sports, IMO.

That was insane. I didn't know about all the "tragedies" going on in his life back in september and october. If this article is right then this is pretty sad to read.

Speculation is that he went along with it to cover up homosexuality from his Mormon family.

Either way, will he now be the Bengals' Vontaze Burfict of 2013?

He says he wasn't involved in the whole thing and was duped by someone. However he has said and his father has said that they had met in person before. How does that work?

My girlfriends dead you know. She fell off a cliff and died on impact. - Manti Te'o. Or maybe it was Happy Gilmore. Tough to keep track of these fake girlfriend stories.

ND and Te'o should have consulted a PR firm. When something bad happens, tell the truth, tell the whole truth, and tell it first. They must have been out of money from the Heisman campaign. Maybe the check from the BCS Championship slaughter is in the mail?

Victim of a hoax? Pretty good hoax, considering it must include several accomplices playing family members who supported Manti after her "death":

Didn't Manti learn anything from Lance?

This "statement" of his (and ND's too) is going to end up biting them both in the ass.

Re: Manti Te'o didn't really have a dead girlfriend

Where did he send the roses?

    Q. No one would question how any person grieves, but what went into your decision or did you think at all about going back for your girlfriend's service? I understand you had a game that day but what was the decision there?

Manti Te'o: You know, I really wanted to see her. I really wanted to see her. But I knew that she made me promise, you know one day she made me promise that, she said, "Babe, if anything happens to me, you promise that you'll still stay over there and that you'll play and that you'll honor me through the way you play, and know that I would rather have you there." And just make sure that all she wanted was some white roses. White is her favorite color. So she just wanted some white roses and that's all she asked for. So I sent her roses and sent her two picks (interceptions) along with that, so that was good.
