Does he move into Broxton's role with Broxton now as the closer?

I hope not. Marshall and Hoover are both significantly better, so I hope those guys inherit the eighth inning. Ondrusek has posted solid ERAs the last few years, but his peripherals don't match the results. He owned a 6.4 K/9 and 5.1 BB/9 last season. Neither of those numbers are really very good for a relief pitcher.
Also, over the course of the past three seasons, Ordusek's WHIP totals have looked like this:
2010 - 1.18
2011 - 1.35
2012 - 1.50
He isn't really trending in the right direction. I'm hoping he's used mainly as a 6th or 7th inning guy in 2013.
AP story released late friday night answered my question for me...2.3 million. 950,000 next year then up to 1.35 mil in '14
Here was on Logan on the Reds Hot Stove League last Monday night.
(700WLW) He said every reliever has the goal of being a closer.
