    911 Dispatching Career?

My wife is really getting burned out where she works and saw where she can take a 40 hour class to be a 911 dispatcher. Can anyone out there give any helpful info? Are those type positions normally plentiful? Good Benefits? Good job to have? Etc.......

A pretty good article that may help with some of your questions. The only thing I would be worried about is the burnout factor. High stress job and shift work as well which can be hard on some folks as seniority often gets to choose best shifts. Best of luck.
