If you're into that kind of stuff, go deep sea fishing and make sure you find a boat that lets you keep what you catch (if you guys cook that is). It's a ton of fun and some of the best fish you'll ever eat.
Go hiking, get off the map a little...but overall, relax and have fun. Hawaii is a great state, I usually only go to Maui, but Kauai is beautiful as well.

One thing that we did that I would recommend to anyone. We flew into Honolulu and then to Maui the next afternoon. We went to Pearl Harbor that next day. You have to get up very early and head on over. It wasn't much of a problem for us considering we were still on eastern standard time. Its something to see and if you have time I would highly recommend it. Its pretty much the only thing that looked appealing on Honolulu.
