Re: We are not mocking the Cubs enough

At this moment, four teams in the NL Central have winning records and one has a losing record. Guess which one has the losing record?

Forward this to all the Cubs fans you know.

In baseball’s new bizarro world, the Cubs want to become the Cincinnati Reds.

The executives inside their Clark Street headquarters have talked about their business and baseball plans lining up sometime this decade, while other teams are actually doing it.

Lots of Reds fans at Wrigley Field this past weekend. It was a similar mix of what we saw at Cubs games in GABP ten years ago.

It was great to hear Reds fans start a "CAR-LOS MAR-MOL" chant in one of the Wrigleyville bars after Saturday's game...

Re: We are not mocking the Cubs enough

On Saturday night, the Chicago Blackhawks were up 1-0 on the Boston Bruins and seemingly cruising to a two- game lead in the Stanley Cup. Then the Cubs tweeted this. The Bruins tied up the game and then took the victory in overtime.

    The curse is contagious.

No team continuously strives to reach new milestones in futility quite like the Cubs. Last night's loss marked their 50th of the season at Wrigley Field, the first time (I know, I'm surprised too) that's happened in franchise history.

Long live (this gloriously terrible version of) the Cubs!

As much as it pains me...and trust me, it makes me physically ill...today I will be singing "Go Cubs go...Go Cubs go! Hey Chicago what do ya say..the Cubs are gonna win today!"

I just took a look at Darwin Barney's batting line for the year...good god. It's not Pete Kozma bad, but it's close.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

The mention of his name still makes me giggle. Only the Cubs would start a guy who's half Santa Claus and half purple dinosaur

There was an article in our local paper yesterday about a local woman turning 108. In the story there was a section about how life was different in 1905. It struck we that when this lady was three the Cubs won the Series.

99% of all numbers only tell 33% of the story so when looking at the numbers remember that numbers is plural...

He almost appears, um, anatomically correct.
