What would've been even cooler is if Cubs fans hadn't solely blamed him for all those years while simultaneously refusing to acknowledge that the Alex Gonzalez botch or blowing a 2 run lead in game 7 should be the main culprits for them not winning a World Series......oh actually I meant an NL pennant. You see, for some reason Cubs fans just assumed they would've beaten the Yankees anyways...

I agree. I think it's awesome. I've lost all my Cubs hate somehow (well, I'm getting older and mellowing). I like their team, their manager, their FO. Still despise their fans though. I lived a 20' walk from Wrigley Field for 5 years; could never warm up to the fan base.
sorry we're boring
Jon Lester is working on his throwing to 1st base problems by bouncing the ball to 1st. The Reds ground crew might want to put some small rocks in front of 1st base when the Cubs come to town.

Someone needs to tell Lester that move only worked on Astroturf.

Lester is putting on a show now.
