You don't live in Cleveland, you live in Cincinnati.
Does anyone know where I could find this video/audio clip? I have been looking for it forever and I can't find it.
Any help would be appreciated.

Re: You don't live in Cleveland, you live in Cincinnati.
Does anyone remember the year that Sam Wyche made this infamous little speech on the sidelines? I remember watching the game on live TV and laughing when he did it. Was it 1988-89 (the 2nd Super Bowl appearance year)?
I ask b/c I have a VHS tape at home. It is one of the NFL films things. It is about that season. I haven't watched it in many years, so I cannot remember if the speech was on there.

Thanks Roy & woy. That eliminates my 1988-89 VHS tape as being a possible candidate. Guess I won't go home and watch it tonight!

I believe it was 1989.

Re: You don't live in Cleveland, you live in Cincinnati.
I think Cleveland has it in their National Archives. :mhcky21:
Esiason: Wyche was right then, right now By Special to NFL.com (Dec. 21, 2001) -- "You don't live in Cleveland!" Words from the mouth of Sam Wyche during a game in which our Bengals were playing the Seahawks in 1989. In a bizarre sideline incident, our Cincinnati head coach took the public address announcer's microphone and lambasted Bengals fans who were throwing snowballs at the Seahawks' kicker as he was getting ready for a field goal attempt. Because Cincinnati was the only team at that time to have its P.A. announcer on the field during the game, Wyche had easy access to intercede before the situation got out of control. I remember Sam received a great amount of ridicule and scorn for his actions. If only he didn't say those famous words as mentioned above. Had he chosen his words more carefully, he would have been hailed as having the proper focus during this melee. Instead, in true Sam fashion, he found himself in a dunking booth that next summer in the heart of Cleveland. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/4726846 I'm trying to find the audio, but have not had any luck as of yet.
