If anyone is going to be in Vegas next week, and has a spare grand or so laying around the house, you can join Cory Lidle's First Annual Celebrity Poker Tournament (can it really be called "annual" if it's the first, though?). You can play poker with such celebs as Adam Dunn, the guy from My Big Fat Obnoxious Boss, Mike Lieberthal, Lisa Guerrero, and her husband, Major League Baseball Free Agent Scott Erickson. The Fridge, William Perry will also be in attendance. I know if I had the money and was out there, I'd go to try and match wits with some major leaguers. And the guy from My Big Fat Obnoxious Boss. Plus, it goes to charity. |

Seriously is MLB going to let their players be associaited with gambling? Didn't some very big former MLB stars get in trouble for being greeters at a Casino back in the 80's?

I think since all the money goes to the Make A Wish Foundation, it's cool for big leaguers to be involved. It's more of a charity event than gambling.
