LHP Phil Dumatrait
Anybody think this guy could be a sleeper this upcoming season? After rebounding from surgery he put pretty good numbers at Chatanooga last year. If he gets off to a hot start at Louisville, could he possibly be in the Reds rotation come the second half of the season?

Re: LHP Phil Dumatrait
It will all come down to how his control develops. If he can't get his walk totalls down, he will be destined for a future in the bullpen. Best case scenario - he achieves his ceiling as a #3 starter, but it will all depend on if he can locate his curveball.

Command is usually the last thing to return after arm injuries. If Dumatrait can regain his control, he's on his way to a spot in the 2007 rotation.
