Tito showing his love for Bronson by giving Papi the day off. Just one lefty and one SH in the whole lineup.

Not the A lineup today... guess they don't like the 2-hr bus ride.

You mean that middle of the order won't be scaring Wakefield?

I think some of it is Jr and Dunn are swinging well and they don't want to mess with that by having to face the whiffle ball.

Wily Mo keeps dropping lower and lower the Sox lineup....

He's going to bat 7th regularly against LHP. The Wake/Bard combo rearranges things a little, but he's in his place.

I know it's not their style, but it would be interesting to see Wily Mo hit behind a good OBP/speed guy in order to limit the number of breaking pitches he'll see. Something tells me Youkilis isn't going to be running much though.

They don't even have a good OBP/speed, seriously. Crisp is their only speed guy, and his OBP isn't terrible, but I wouldn't call it good, at least not yet. The real lineup without Bard goes Lowell, Pena, Youkilis, Gonzalez. Should be a lot of Ks there.
