Wow, didn't realize that Beckett was giving up the HR like 05 Milton.

Josh Beckett:

5.26 ERA , 75.1 IP , 72 H, 62 K, 17 HR

Funny thing is, if Beckett can start keeping the ball in the park, he should be excellent again. He's given up less hits than innings and has a good K rate.

Believe me, my fantasy team realizes it. He's been getting hit hard when not striking hitters out.

Check out his home road splits. Like two different people.

he throws straight fastballs for the first 2 innings, id like to see the splits on fastball curveball in the first two innings he pitches

Get this though:

Beckett:
Homers allowed at home: 1
Homers allowed on the road: 16

Schilling:
Homers allowed at home: 0
Homers allowed on the raod: 13

WTF?!

I know this doesn't account for all of it, but the weather has been nasty for almost every game they've played in Boston this Spring.

I can only think that it has something to do with the deep right CF in fenway.

Too many trips to Toronto, NY, Cleveland, and Texas? It's weird, isn't it? Check Keith Foulke's h/r splits, just for the heck of it: H: 8.47 ERA, 6 HR, R: 2.40 ERA, 0 HR. Bizzarro staff.
