Kobe Bryant
Is going absolutely insane on the entire league right now. He just scored 50 or more points tonight for the 4th straight night, all wins for his team. During the streak he's averaging 54.3% FG and 56.3 ppg. For the entire month of March he's at a clip of 48% shooting and 40.8 ppg.
I just appreciate being able to see a guy go off like this. It hasn't been done since Wilt Chamberlain went on a 7 game tear. |

Re: Kobe Bryant
It certainly is impressive, but he does it because he has to. You just know someone's going to compare this run to MJ, which is ridiculous.

Re: Kobe Bryant
In addition to heaving up an average of 35 shots per game during the stretch (75-140 overall 54% FG), Kobe has also been amazing from the foul line. He has hit 56-60 (93%) of his free throws during the last four games.
He has simply been un-guardable duing the last week.

Re: Kobe Bryant
Didn't you hear? That's his normal follow-through when he shoots 3-pointers....
It reminds me of the Seinfeld episode wher George faked the "elbow tick" at the doctor's office.

Re: Kobe Bryant
I don't like the guy, but I love to watch him play because he's simply unbelievable. He's making history right now with this streak, and it's been an awesome thing to watch.
