T. Brenneman issues
I'm new to the site and was wondering if anyone else thinks Thom has some issues expressing himself. While I think it's great to point out positive and negative aspects during the game, it seems as if Thom really has a problem getting his point across without sounding condescending and mean spirited. While I agreed the other night that some of the guys had a pitch selection issue, Thom's manner of bringing that to our attention is negative and pretty much degrading to the player.
I wouldn't be surprised if one of the players "takes him out behind the woodshed and straightens him out" if he keeps it up. He makes some pretty opinionated statements that at times make him look stupid when Chris explains to him why he is wrong, or that perhaps there is another reason for whatever Thom is spouting off about. I guess I'm just saying you can get your point across without sounding nasty about it. |
