Sam Lecure?
Anyone know why he is starting for sarasota tonight? Was he demoted? His numbers have been pretty good.

He's been on the DL for awhile, which means he was probably back at the Sarasota complex for the last few weeks anyway. It just makes it easier if the minor-league staff and medical staff can watch his first start right there, and if he comes out okay he can be bumped back up to Chattanooga.

He had an oblique muscle strain. Drew Anderson said they thought he was coming on the current road trip but he didn't. So, I agree, just a tuneup before heading back to AA (assuming it goes fairly well)
