Roenicke & Avery - Hometowns - Lookouts story
From the Chattanooga newspaper, this fluff piece about two AA guys and their oddly named hometowns (didn't we just draft another guy from Moose Jaw this year?).

Re: Roenicke & Avery - Hometowns - Lookouts story
Avery is a really, really streaky pitcher. He pitched great at the beginning of the season, then hit a stretch where he gave up at least five earned runs in something like six straight starts. He's just righted the ship in the last two (13 IP, 1 ER).

Re: Roenicke & Avery - Hometowns - Lookouts story
Makes me wonder about his mechanics and if he, at times lets them get lazy? Not getting to see him pitch very often if at all, I don't really know the answer, but if he gets lazy with things, and starts to leave the ball up, that surely could explain some of his struggles.
