The Day You Were Born
Anything noteworthy happen on your birthday?
My sister's birthday is Aug 16, the day Elvis died. I share a birthday with MLK, Jr. And GIK and Boss. And Jerry Narron. back in the old days, they played SuperBowls on my birthday. My mom shared a birthday with Johnny Carson and that's also the day the Military Housing was bombed in Beruit. How about you?

Re: The Day You Were Born
My birthday is April 13th. Off the top of my head it is Thomas Jeferson's birthday and also I was born on the day Pete Rose collected his first MLB hit.

Re: The Day You Were Born
There was a military coup in Afghanistan where the King fled.
The Reds had 10 hits, but lost 2-1 to Jim Lonborg and the Phillies at Riverfront.

April 25th, the integrated circuit is patented. Suez Canal was started, The United States declares war on Spain and according to Wikipedia 1901 - New York becomes the first U.S. state to require automobile license plates. Oh, and the Hubble assumed orbit on that day.

In truth, no one really knows when he was born. It was before April 26 but not too far before, so April 23 is certainly possible. But people anymore traditionally observe it the 25th or 26th.

Re: The Day You Were Born
I share a birthday with Nicky Hilton and a birthdate with Kate Winslet.
On my birthdate, the Reds beat the Pirates 6-1 in games 2 of the NLCS. Tony Perez hit a home run and is thus, my favorite Red since birth. Legend has it that my dad had to stop at the store to buy batteries to ensure that he would be able to listen to the game on the radio while I was being born.

Re: The Day You Were Born
I have a printout of the front page of the Dallas Morning News from the day I was born hanging on the wall of my office. (Courtesy of the online newspaper database at my local public library.) There wasn't much happening in the world that day, so it's a good thing I came along.
![]() My birthday buddies are Clint Eastwood, Joe Namath and Brooke Shields. I don't have any famous birth date buddies. Last edited by Unassisted; 08-17-2007 at 01:10 PM. |
