Question about Matt Maloney baseball cards
I was wondering if anyone has seen or knows if there are any cards of Matt Maloney as a Red? If not, when should I expect one to come out? I've looked on ebay and can only find cards of him in a Phillies uniform.
I'm also interested in an Edinson Volquez card with the Reds but I realize it will probably be a while before that comes out. |

They probably will not come out with him as a Red until after he makes his debut with the Reds. Volquez I would expect sometime next summer.

Maloney could show up in Bowman Chrome this year.

Re: Question about Matt Maloney baseball cards
Where are baseball cards for Minor League players found? I've never been in a baseball card store or anything of that nature, so maybe I've just missed it.

Re: Question about Matt Maloney baseball cards
While there are minor league sets, many players have first year or rookie cards before they ever play in the major leagues. Check out ebay. Many Reds prospects already have rookie cards out from Bruce (2005), Bailey (2004), Cueto (2007), Votto (2002), Frazier (2007), Mesoraco (2007), Lotzkar (2007), Lecure (2005), Wood (2005) and many others.

Tri-Star is the official licensed minor league product. DonRuss got back in the game this year with a "Draft Pick" issue.

Re: Question about Matt Maloney baseball cards
Ah OK. So it is big time companies that produce them, then. I assume they are probably only sold in card shops?

Re: Question about Matt Maloney baseball cards
Yeah, but nowadays the web is one huge card shop. That card of Devin Mesoraco I posted on his thread is a TriStar card I bought on e-bay. There sites like Dave and Adams Cardworld where you can buy a freakin case of something if you'd like.
