All,

As you have probably noticed, for the past 23 hours, the site was unavailable due to an unexplained database crash. I worked with the makers of vBulletin and our hosting company, HostPC, to get the problem corrected, but unfortunately, several of the database tables were corrupted beyond repair. As a result, the site had to be restored from its latest backup, which was on 1/5. Thus, all posts, registrations, etc. between then have now have been lost, but I think that's a relatively small price to pay to be back up and running.

I'd really like to thank Joe at HostPC for doing a great job in doing his part to get the site restored as soon as humanly possible. He deserves a huge kudos for his efforts. Anyway, as as result of this, I will be making much more frequent backups moving forward in the event something like this ever were to happen again. If you have any questions, please let me know. Thank you for your patience during this time.

Maybe we could reset RZ to December 1 and Willy Tavares doesn't become a Red.

I am not a computer expert, but I believe that the site crashed because the server had reached its limit of Adam Dunn posts.

Wow- you can wear out keyboard keys after 23 hours of attempted log ons. Guess I can log off now...
