Re: Buster Olney Article
If I were willing to believe Junior has lost 20 or so pounds, his knee was the problem last year, his knee is fixed and his power/hitting/fielding will be back in '09.......if I were certain all those things happened and will happen, I would be alright with the Reds signing him to play LF for a $2 million and incentives.
Never thought I'd say that. But I'm still not sure I believe it anyway.

Re: Buster Olney Article
Can we wind the clock back and unsign Taveras and instead put Junior in left and plan on a Dickerson/Hairston platoon in center?

Re: Buster Olney Article
It would be nice but because they've made that commitment to WT I'm doubtful about a new OF acquisition.

Re: Buster Olney Article
The Reds punted this season when they signed WT. They should have just brought JR back, would have sold a lot more seats anyway and been a whole lot cheaper. Not to mention the fact that JR may just have something left in the tank AND have something to prove.

Re: Buster Olney Article
Considering JR would even want to come back here.
