Bryan Price/Leake effect?
Is Price earning his paycheck or what now?This guy has got this starting staff firing in less than two seasons,compared to years of what Dick Pole could not do.And the starters seem to be feeding off of Mike Leake's successful outings every time.Heck they might have been in the dugout taking notes.My old boss is from AZ and a big baseball,and DBacks fan.
He told me when the Reds drafted Leake we got a steal.He predicted Leake would go 11-3 after he saw his first start. |

It is great to see the starters doing so well, esp after such an awful first couple weeks this season. I have nothing to back it up of course, but suspect (hope?) that Price plays some role in this. I also agree Leake is helping out as well; seeing his approach and attitude, as well as others on the team, has made the biggest overall difference. Talent can win, but still gotta believe in it to make it happen, and we seem to be moving not only into the talent to do it, but knowing we belong-thats what has been missing.
