Fun Stats

These stats don't really mean anything, but I thought I'd post them since I'm bored. All of these stats apply to players in the organization who retain their rookie status going into 2011. They include Major League numbers but not independent league numbers.

Juan Francisco leads in home runs and total bases. Amazingly, he has never had a sacrifice hit.
Chris Denove is the oldest player.
Sean Henry leads in games, runs, and hits. Oh, and caught stealing.
Justin Reed somehow leads in triples. Brandon Yarbrough is somehow only two behind.
Mike Costanzo leads in plate appearances, at-bats, doubles, RBIs, walks, strikeouts, and intentional walks.
Kris Negron leads in stolen bases (139). He has also been hit by the most pitches.
Ronald Torreyes leads in batting average, but if you limit it to players with at least 400 plate appearances, Dave Sappelt is the leader. Using that same qualifier, Danny Dorn leads in both OBP and SLG.
Jose Castro has grounded into the most double plays, but he also has the most sacrifice hits.
One thing I find particularly interesting is that Chris Valaika has a commanding lead in the sacrifice fly department.
Sam LeCure leads in wins (as well as games started). Chad Reineke leads in losses (as well as many of the other counting stats like innings pitched, runs allowed, walks issued, strikeouts, homeruns allowed, etc.).
Federico Baez leads in games pitched and games finished.
Ben Jukich leads in complete games and is one of seven players to have pitched one shutout.
Donnie Joseph leads in saves with only 28.
Curtis Partch has beaned the most hitters and had the most balks. Wow.
Josh Ravin has thrown the most wild pitches.
Justin Walker is the most prone to giving up the long ball (1.5 per 9IP).
