If you happen to miss the 10pm episode, it will be on at 5am tomorrow morning if you need to DVR it etc. I am sure there will be other replays.

Pretty good anaylsis of this year's squad, only thing I disagreed with was the all time lineup, 2000 KGJ over 1973 Pete Rose, really? REALLY?
Nothing good EVER happened with KGJ in a Reds uniform except a decade long nightmare. Scratched from the team was a man that gave Reds fans a plethora of lifetime GOOD baseball memories. HORRIBLE decision to have KGJ on the all time Reds greats, should have been more like this... Rose 73 Morgan 76 Votto 10 Bench 72 Perez 70 Robinson 62 Foster 77 Larkin 96 |

If you go strictly by their rules, then it must be Eric Davis 1987 in Centerfield. I simply can not see how Griffey 2000 was chosen over Davis. Makes no sense. If you want to pick the 3 best OF seasons then it might be Rose 1973 over Davis 1987. The tipping point may be that Rose was selected MVP while Davis was not. Foster 1977 and Robinson 1962 are locks. But it is certainly not Griffey 2000 and that low batting average.
Rose 1976 may have a case against Perez 1970 at third base, but I'd probaby still go with Doggie given the HR's and RBI's. |

Here's my lineup. Players had to play primarily in the postion listed, except for LF and RF, which are interchangeable:
1. Rose-LF-(1969) .348/.428/.512 2. Morgan-2B-(1976) .320/.444/.576 3. Votto-1B- (2010) .324/.424/.600 4. Foster-RF- (1977) .320/.382/.631 5. Perez-3B-(1970) .317/.401/.581 6. Larkin-SS- (1996) .298/.410/.567 7. E. Davis-CF-(1987) .293/.399/.593 8. Bench-C-(1972) .270/.376/.541 Robinson is relegated to a pinch hitter role because he went into the Hall as an Oriole. |
