Random Thoughts
It's to the point where the teams that aren't playing the Reds will be complaining about "integrity of the game."
We thought it'd be an easier schedule but it was for the Astros and Cubs. Maybe we should rethink the whole anybody-can-play-left-field thing. If Arroyo has mono, the bullpen has the mumps. It's too bad they weren't this bad before the trading deadline. How can a manager know so much less from one year to the next? It's like they're playing a game that's very much like baseball but with crucial differences. One year of this seems longer than 10 years used to. At least the catchers aren't fighting each other. This team is playing like we all feel. |
