Birthdays- 10/11
Reds:
Dmitri Young (38) -Hit .300 or better in each of his four seasons as a Red. People still joke about his girth, but the guy could play ball. Larry Luebbers (42) -Local boy who had two separate short stints with the Reds. Will White -A great Red pitcher from the 19th century. His nickname was "Whoop-La"; look at his picture on Baseballreference.com and tell me if that looks like a "whoop-la". Buttercup Dickerson -Just couldn't pass up that name. Others: Ty Wigginton (34) -As far as I can tell, the only active major leaguer whose birthday is today. Orlando Hernandez (46) AKA "El Duque".
