Lots of interesting folks today.
Reds: Pete Rose Jr. (42) -I always kind of had a soft spot for him because he obviously loves baseball. Others: Drew Denson (46) -Cincinnati boy who was a first-round pick of the Braves but never quite made it in the bigs. Dwight Gooden (47) -Youngest-ever Cy Young winner. In his prime you just couldn't imagine how anyone could hit him. Now scheduled to appear on Celebrity Rehab With Dr. Drew. Glenn Burke- First openly gay active player. His life was too hard and too short. Herb Washington (60) -Sprinter turned pinch-runner, he's now one of the most successful African-American restauranteurs in America, owning several McDonalds. Also owns a minor-league hockey team. Frank Bolling -Fine 2B of the 1950s. When he played with his brother Milt in Detroit they were one of only four brother/brother DP combos (the Ripkens were the most recent).

Burke also "invented" the high five with good old Dusty Baker back in the 70's. So Nate owes him big time
