New Baseball movie in pre-production

Starring Clint Eastwood

Trouble with the Curve (2013)
An ailing baseball scout in his twilight years takes his daughter along for one last recruiting trip.

sounds like it could have been the perfect move for Ryan and Tatom O'Neal.

Ryan and Tatum could be in the Hangover III inspired spin-off.

Maybe he wants to die with his makeup on? (and cowboy boots)

I wonder what team he's going to be a scout for? I am thinking it's not going to be a large or successful team. Clint has ties to the SF Bay area, maybe Oakland. But Oakland has just been done in Moneyball. SF has been successful in recent years, but they might go that way. There will probably be up and coming 'star' scout who has 2 or 3 players becoming stars. Maybe cameos from old players that 'Clint' interacted with in the old days. Probably it will have a high school snot-nose punk who happens to have some raw baseball talent. Clint will have to adjust his attitude.
