Always a class act. He gave the most amusing press conferences in the business. I'm a graduate of two schools that have long standing rivalries with Miami but I still love Charlie Coles.

Probably for the best, given his medical troubles.
While an undergrad, I remember him coming to UD and amiably talking trash with the first rows of the student section on multiple occasions. He dished it out pretty well. |

One of the students photoshopped an O-Zone turtleneck onto a picture of him a couple years back, blew it up, printed it, and tried to get Charlie to sign it. He did so with a laugh and a smile.

I, and many UC alumni and fans, greatly respect Charlie. Sorry for the loss, we will miss having him around.

I'm an OU alumnus and a big fan of the Bobcats. As much a we hate Miami, we loved Charlie. We're gonna miss you, Coach.
