Against the Royals, Homer breezes through the top half of the first, two grounders and a fly ball. In the bottom half, Stubbs (LEADING OFF-GRRR) flies out. Harris and Votto follow with Ks.
Dusty will have Stubbs leading off by the end of April. No questions. __________________

Bruce reaches on a dead ball off the umpire. Rolen singles Votto in after fighting off a few pitches on a full count. Lutz homers to right center. 4-0 Reds. |

Stubbs Ks. Yawn. Harris grounds out. Votto, Bruce and Rolen single for the first tally. Lutz goes deep for the second time this spring. This one of the 3-run variety.
